The War In Iraq
We're spending billions of dollars tearing the country to pieces,
then billions more putting it back together. And what for? To go down in history as the guys that got Iraq
back on its feet? Well, it's only going to stumble and fall over again. We can't keep doing this. Maybe when our eighty-one
billion dollars of national debt is paid off, we can play hero. But right now, we've got more important matters
on our hands than a country that can't be saved.
National Health Care / The War On Drugs
Billions of dollars are invested into the war on drugs. Let's say
we take out a couple billion and put it into national health care. Then we require a FREE drug test for all Americans
that want health care. They're clean, they get the health care. They're not clean, they go to meetings, get better, and test
again. The drug screens are random, and may occur once every few months. I think this would be a good way to further
limit drug use AND get national health care for those who deserve it.
Unfortunately, people will protest this because it would be
considered Unreasonable Search and Seizure, and will violate their Constitutional rights.
And of course, marijuana is going to become fully legalized eventually. Although I have
had some most unpleasant experiences with it, I have to admit that there are a lot worse things people could be doing. Tobacco,
for instance.
Voting Rights
There should be no voting age. Age is not a sign of maturity or
knowledge. Instead, ALL people of ALL ages should have the right to take a Voting Competency Test. If they pass,
they obtain a Voting License. Prior to the election, people with a Voting License will take another test on current political
issues, and all the candidates. This process would prevent uninformed people from voting.
And if you're going to argue that there would be less voters: 1)
Younger people, such as myself, would also have the right to vote, and would take the place of incompetent fools that were
once allowed to vote because they were 'of age.' 2) Even if the test was extremely difficult and only fifteen people passed
it, there would be fifteen educated individuals running our country, as opposed to millions of buffoons.
Electoral College
Isn't the country supposed to be run by the people? We should represent
ourselves, not be represented by one person, count for as much as our population is high.
I just did some research and calculations. The results of my experiment
are the following:
Party A
198.4 million people (2/3 of the population; approximately
67%)
Electoral College : 242
Party B
98 million people (1/3 of the population; appoximately
33%)
Electoral College : 296
*Assuming every American citizen votes.
*Not taking into account anymore than two
parties.
It is possible for one party to get the vote of two thirds
of the population and thirty-seven out of fifty states (and District of Columbia), but still lose, 296 to 242, because
of electoral college.
The necessity for electoral college proves what a wonderful
invention the Voting License is. If so many people are voting that they need to be condensed to fifty by states, then
idiots need to stop voting.
National Debt
Along with my calculations and research for electoral college, I
found out some things about the national debt.
I heard somewhere that to pay off the national debt, every American
citizen would have to pay $27,000. The population is about three million.
27,000
x 3,000,000
81,000,000,000
That's eighty-one billion dollars of national debt! And we're still
wasting money we don't even have in Iraq?!
Death Penalty
"Why do we kill people who kill people to prove
that killing people is wrong?"
I'm sure you've heard it before. And I'm not going to argue with
it. But murderers shouldn't be kept in cages all their lives. Killing them is a much better alternative than having them locked
up, wasting our food.
But an even better alternative is to put them to use. Make them
do community service. They could walk around and mow everyone's lawns, plant flowers, clean things, make stuff, do laundry.
I'm not saying have child rapists doing babysitting jobs, but at least have them do more work than just for themselves. If
they are unable, or even unwilling, to work, then kill them.
Kind of like Hitler said, kill off the people that can't work...
Minus the whole Jew thing.
The Killing of Animals
I have more respect for a cannibal than I do for a recreational
hunter.
1. The cannibal is killing to eat, whereas the hunter
only wants the "thrill of the kill" or maybe a cruel, disgusting trophy.
2. People are lying thieving scum who don't even deserve
life. But killing an animal is like killing a baby. They're completely innocent.
You could argue the point that in the wild, animals kill other animals.
And yes, they do... With claws and fangs. Not guns. You want to hunt, hunt with your bare fucking hands.
And for the religious folks: "God" put animals on earth for us to
eat, but he did not create guns.
Also, we should not waste if we kill. At an animal shelter, when
an animal has been there for a certain amount of time, it is put down. Then we throw it in a dumpster behind the shelter.
I know, I know. What kind of sick freak would eat a cat or dog?
Well, one should think, any sick freak that would a pig, cow, chicken, fish, lamb, etc. Just because you were brought
up eating only certain meats doesn't mean you have to continue to discriminate your food now.
